A note from Emily
Emily's honest take
Many authoritative guidelines, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Mayo Clinic, and the NHS, recommend limiting caffeine consumption to less than 200 milligrams per day while pregnant. This amount is roughly equivalent to about one 12-ounce cup of brewed coffee, or two 8-ounce cups, depending on the coffee's strength. It's important to remember that this 200mg limit applies to all sources of caffeine, including tea, soda, chocolate, and some medications.
